Scout & Grace

So, where did the name Scout and Grace come from?  Scout and Grace are the middle names of our owner's daughters! When Miriam moved to Charlotte she decided  to start a new company with a completely new brand.  She couldn't decide on a name, then it hit her, use the cutest names of all!


 (You may be confused by this, because Miriam only has one daughter - well, her oldest baby girl is in heaven)

I have been a certified wedding planner since 2001. I started my career working as a catering manager/private event director in different country clubs, city clubs and high end wedding facilities. In 2011 I decided to focus on weddings and became a full-time wedding planner. Then in 2017 my husband was relocated to Charlotte, NC where I decided to launch a new company!  

I love helping couples achieve their dreams and planning their amazing weddings and events!  I live in the country with my husband, daughter, 2 dogs, rabbit, and chickens! We love spending time together pretending to be homesteaders! I also love musicals and at any given moment you may hear me singing a show tune!!  Coffee is my drink of choice, you can always find one in my hand.  And crazy fact about me - I know sign language!

Haylee Salyer - Senior Lead Planner


Events have been and will always be a passion of mine! 
Since graduating from Central Michigan University with an Event Management degree, I have found myself constantly working in a variety of events. 
Weddings are hands down my favorite to plan, I absolutely love getting to see my clients so happy on their big day and having all of the little details fall into place! 
When not planning weddings, you can more than likely find me at the dog park with my dog, out and about sipping wine with my husband and friends, or heading back home to Michigan to see my family and spoil my nieces and nephews! 

Erin Infelice - Lead Planner

Hey everyone, my name is Erin and I'm so excited to be on the team at Scout & Grace! 

I'm originally from New York and moved to Charlotte after college to start the best chapter of my life. With a Masters Degree in Marketing and years of experience in customer service, I've always loved the days at work that involved planning a party! I focus all of my energy on making sure every detail is just right. 

As your Wedding Planner I vow to bring that same devotion to your wedding day and make sure it's absolutely magical. I firmly believe that your big day should be the perfect representation of your love, and my number one goal is to bring that vibrant vision to life.

Outside of weddings, I love to spend my free time exploring this amazing city, trying new coffee shops and restaurants, thrift shopping, and spending time outdoors! I can't wait to work with you!

Jen Licis - Associate Coordinator 

Wedding planning has become a passion of mine as I am able to leverage my organizational skills and eye for design. I truly enjoy working with clients to ensure their wedding dreams are executed flawlessly. 

I also work full time in the financial industry, with a bachelor’s in economics and MS in finance. I am able to utilize my ability to work in high stress environments and translate that on wedding days to ensure a smooth timeline. 

Outside of finance and wedding planning, I enjoy OrangeTheory fitness, yoga, fashion and reading. Cheers!
